Highly experienced equine vet who has spent most of his career in the Home Counties working within all aspects of equine veterinary medicine, from race horses and high level competition horses to beloved pets.

Joe has considerable experience in advanced dentistry, pre-purchase examinations and welfare and legal work. Joe is a holder of the Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice (Equine Dentistry) and an RCVS recognised Advanced Practitioner in Equine Dentistry.

Joe has considerable experience in advanced dentistry, having undertaking considerable further training through the University of Liverpool, in order to gain his Certificate of Advanced Veterinary Practice and is an RCVS recognised Advanced Practitioner in Equine Dentistry.
Dentistry Fees.
Visit Fee (subject to area), sedation, comprehensive oral examination, routine maintenance, dental chart and follow up advice as required.
Performed by a highly experienced Veterinary Surgeon who has undertaken significant extra dental training and gained his Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice through the University of Liverpool.
Referrals are also accepted from yourself, Equine Dental Technician or Vet.

Joe offers a thorough, no-nonsense approach relying on his years of experience to offer you sensible, practical advice in purchasing your new companion be they destined for top flight competition or a life long companion at home.

5 Stage Examination

- Full hands on clinical examination at rest
- Assessment at walk and trot, including flexion tests and lunging on a hard and soft surface (where safe to to do so)
- Ridden exercise - in order to elevate the heart rate and breathing
- A period of rest - evaluate recovery
- Final trot up and re-evaluation
- Examination of Passport and Microchip
- Blood sample
- Signed hard copy and E-mailed Certificate

Referrals and Second Opinions
Joe has worked within the Home Counties for most of his career working with racehorses, top flight show-jumpers, Grand-Prix dressage horses, 4* event horse and pleasure ponies and donkeys.
